Finally, it’s out, the much awaited Google Penguin 2.1 is launching today live and seriously, searches are been affected.
To confirm this news circulating the Internet marketing forums, and according to a tweet from Google’s Distinguished Engineer Matt Cutts, which reads;

However, what we first noticed is that the first update to the second-generation Penguin algorithm designed to target web spam will affect “~1% of searches to a noticeable degree, as rightly said by Matt Cutts.
Just to jog your memory, this This google Penguin 2.1 is Google’s fifth Penguin-related launch to help the giant fights again spam, and you can also call the Penguin 2.1 Humming bird.
